Author guidelines.
Everything you need to prepare and submit your paper to ICACT 2026. All submissions are handled through the official ConfConnects portal.
Format & template.
IEEE format
Format your paper strictly to the official IEEE Conference Proceedings Template — double-column, US Letter — in MS Word or LaTeX.
Page limit
Prepare your manuscript to the IEEE conference template, up to a maximum of 10 pages. The registration fee covers 6 pages; pages 7–10 are charged at USD 5 (Regular) / USD 10 (Late) each at registration.
Submission file
Submit a complete, camera-ready-quality PDF. Ensure fonts are embedded and the paper is IEEE Xplore®-compatible (PDF eXpress may be used at the camera-ready stage).
Slide template
Prepare your talk on the official ICACT 2026 Presentation Template (PPTX) — 16:9, with a cover slide for your Paper ID, title, authors, session name and number, and a section plan that fits the ten minutes allowed. Authors are requested to follow the template and the timeline. Where a presentation deviates from the prescribed format or overruns its time, the Session Chair may decline to permit it to begin or continue, at the sole discretion of the Session Chair.
What we require.
- Originality. All submissions must be original, unpublished work not currently under review at any other venue.
- Plagiarism / similarity. Papers are screened for similarity and must meet IEEE's plagiarism requirements — a maximum of 15% overall and 2% from any single source.
- Peer review. Submissions undergo peer review by the Technical Program Committee for technical rigour, relevance and contribution.
- Author responsibility. Authors are responsible for obtaining any permissions and ensuring compliance with IEEE publication policies.
Camera-ready & presentation.
- Camera-ready. Prepare the final version to the IEEE template and complete the IEEE electronic copyright form (eCF).
- Registration. At least one author must complete registration for the paper to be included in the program.
- Presentation. At least one author must present the paper — in person in Kathmandu or online (hybrid mode).
- Publication. Accepted, registered and presented papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, subject to meeting IEEE's scope and quality requirements. IEEE Xplore® content is submitted to Scopus for possible indexing. IEEE Conference Record #70625.
