How ICACT 2026 collects, uses and protects the personal data of authors, attendees and website visitors.

Who we are

The data controller is the ICACT 2026 organising committee ("we"), reachable at secretaryicact@gmail.com. ICACT 2026 is the 2026 IEEE 3rd International Conference on Advanced Computing Technologies (IEEE Conference Record #70625), technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Nepal Section.

What we collect

  • Enquiries: when you contact us, we receive your name, email address and message.
  • Submissions & registration: author, paper and registration data are handled on a third-party platform (ConfConnects) under its own privacy terms.
  • Technical data: standard server logs may record IP address and browser information.

How we use it

We process enquiry data to respond to you, and submission and registration data to administer peer review, publication and attendance. We do not sell your data.

Third-party processors

Paper submission, review and registration are handled by ConfConnects. Accepted papers are published in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library under IEEE's policies. Web fonts and maps may be served by Google. Each processes data under its own policy.

Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable follow-up period, after which it is deleted. Published papers remain in IEEE Xplore® as part of the permanent scholarly record.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the organising committee, and object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, email secretaryicact@gmail.com.
